Tropical Love at Goa

You might be familiar to the place called Goa. I hope you are, but if you are not, then hang on...

From beaches to nightlife, seafood to street food, cheap liquor to casinos! You have it all here.

This place is crazy! It's like mini Miami or any tropical city you see in movies. It's magical. Music and happy faces everywhere.

People from all around the world come here to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Well it was one reason why to visit the town myself. But majorly the reason to go was- "Family"

I know my blog is about travel, food and fashion, but some how I'm more driven to the  tiniest details of little things. My smiling grandmother preparing dinner, my beautiful mother trying her best to help in shores, my aunt baking the most delicious cakes, my father enjoying his beer, my cousins who are mystically hypnotized by electronics. And then there's me, a traveler by heart, an explorer by mind. So I'm just gonna give you some good tips of places you must visit when you're here.

Honestly, I have visited Goa almost every year since I was in seventh grade. But I've never felt the urge to be bored of the place. I'm insanely attracted to the beauty this place holds. The love for this town is pure as gold. I'm sure you'll fall in love too!

Before I get into the description of the place, I'd suggest, if you ever plan a trip here, from any part of India... travel via train.
So, yea, I boarded this train called Goa Sampark Kranti Express from New Delhi and got off at Thivim, Goa.
The ride was amazing! We crossed Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The scenic beauty will just keep you awestruck. Trust me, you'll love it!

Coming back, Goa is a place you need to be no matter who you are! A party freak to a peace seeker, this city it mad for you.
Goa is flooded with parties, alcohol, young people and what not. If you're into that then good, you won't find any difficulty in receiving satisfaction.

But, if you're not looking for something like that, you just need to find peace, you just want to explore the cities beauty, you are at the right page my friend. I will tour you to my little "Tropical Love".

Baga Cliff: First place on my list. There's adrenaline, there's peace, there's breeze, there's everything that will ease your mind. If you're in Goa, you cannot miss this place.

Anjuna rock beach: Although its a bit crowded, you can always find a spot to relax. The gushing waves and the whistling win are just about right to sooth your nerves. Take it all in and let it all out.

Palolem: The best beach in Goa where you find clear water and easy waves to swim along. Ok, so here's the best part, there's a rock, a huge giant rock a few meters from the shore. You can easily swim to it or take a boat. Climb up, and the panoramic view includes the whole shore, a few islands and the endless Arabian Sea. It is the best! It's like an achievement to be there.

Candolim beach: So, if your on the north side of Goa, this is the beach you would want to go to so as to avoid hideously drunk men in their underwears at Calangute and Baga beach. Although they are not that bad as I may make it sound, but, I don't know, I guess it has become too commercialized and tourist-stricken. You might want to avoid that...

St. Augustine Church Ruins: This place will bring chills down your spine. Empty, spooky year peaceful. A great place for photography. And yes, to sit by yourself and drown in thoughts. This church is in Old Goa.

Shapora: I'm sure you'd want to pamper your tummy and here's the best place in Goa where you get amazing smoothies, salads and ice cream. It's just super delicious although there's nothing much in it. May be, its just the ambience. Surrounded by unknown people, some chirpy, some lost. It just keeps your mind running of what their story is.

We all are in search of our story, right? Atleast I'm in search of mine.

There are many more places I'd like to tell you about but I'm a little short on pictures to lure your eyes and mind. Just kidding! Hahha!

But yea, you can find my on Instagram by the name TheTrendyEdaciousTraveler and go through my album. I'm kind of a mobile photographer so my pictures my not appeal to a few of you much, but I'm sure you'd want to see the place for yourself at least by looking at it.

Cheers world!
Writing soon!

P.S: Attaching a few pictures so that you know what I'm talking about.

P.P.S: If you're in search of your story, a place like this will help you find it.
